Responsibilities include soliciting and maintaining
accounts, obtaining meeting specs, contacting hotels,
collecting proposals, presenting to client and advising
on final decision. Candidate should be able to
work in unsupervised environment and be computer
literate. Network access requires a high speed internet
connection and a computer running Windows XP
or better. Candidate should also be articulate,
enthusiastic, have excellent communication skills and be
comfortable working from a remote location. Good
follow-up skills are essential for success.
Company will provide business cards, brochures and other
materials needed to do the job. In addition, and
most importantly, we will give you access to our 35,000
account database via the internet. From your home
or office, you will be able to utilize our database to
develop accounts, track account activity, initiate RFPs
and communicate information electronically. Also,
we will provide you with any leads generated by our
marketing programs from your area. Upon joining the
company, we will assist in getting a press release
distributed to the national meeting industry magazines
as well as to business publications in your local
geographic area.
